In this 3rd video on audio compression I cover how stacking 2 compressors on top of each other can have a nice result.
Most of the time people use 1 compressor to do all the heavy lifting, but a cool trick I’ve picked up along the way from some very talented mix engineers is to stack 2 compressors together.
It helps to not put all the stress and work load on the 1 compressor and makes for an easier ride!
